Tall Oaks’ Brewers with a Purpose celebrates the power of community and shared values in the NJ local beer industry. These collaborations are rooted in friendship, support, and working together. Six breweries have teamed up to create six collaborative beers, brewed with purpose and passion. We’re supporting Fulfill NJ, our local food bank – we encourage each attendee to bring one non-perishable food item to the event. Fulfill NJ will have donation boxes available on-site.
Every beer was crafted with detailed input from our collaboration partners and brewed at Tall Oaks on our beloved brewhouse. All beers will be available in 5oz tasters, six 5oz taster flights, and 16oz full pours. To Go options include single cans, 4-packs, sample 6-packs (one single can of each collaboration) and sample 24-case (one 4-pack of each of the collaborations).
We have a limited number of Brewers with a Purpose 19oz glass mugs available which include a donation to Fulfill NJ, your first full pour and full pour Happy Hour prices any time you bring the mug back to Tall Oaks (until March 31st, 2026).
We’re so thankful for your support of our partners, Tall Oaks, the local NJ beer scene, and Fulfill NJ. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season ahead — cheers to good company and more beers with purpose!

Icarus Brewing Company
Japanese Rice Lager – 4.8% ABV
Since its founding over a decade ago, Icarus Brewing has been a cornerstone of the New Jersey craft beer scene. Jason is one of the most knowledgeable brewery owners we’ve met, with a deep understanding of both the local and national brewing landscape. Over the years, we’ve also had the pleasure of getting to know Dave, Nick, and Kevin — each of whom has welcomed us with genuine kindness and support.
From sharing ingredients to helping us dispose of grain during some of our earliest batches at BBP, we’re honored to call the Icarus team friends and humbled knowing we can always count on them when it matters most.
This Japanese Rice Lager is brewed with Pilsner malt and a generous amount of jasmine rice, then hopped with Motueka. A custom step mash that unlocks malt complexity, and five weeks of lagering in our horizontal tank create a crystal-clear, perfectly crisp beer. Aromas and notes of soft jasmine and bright lime zest, balanced by clean malt sweetness and a dry, snappy finish.
Toms River Brewing
American Wheat Ale – 6% ABV
Toms River Brewing and its location have gone through a number of exciting transformations over the years — each one bringing new life, energy, and opportunity to the space. Earlier this year, a new chapter began with the arrival of Chris as Head Brewer.
Chris started his New Jersey brewing career at BBP, first as an intern and later as our Lead Brewer. He went on to brew for several years at Kane Brewing before taking on his current role at Toms River. One of the most down-to-earth yet remarkably intelligent, creative, and methodical brewers we know, Chris has always been a pleasure to work with — both in the past and again during this collaboration. We’re proud to call Chris a friend and thrilled to watch his career continue to rise as he leads the team at Toms River into an exciting new era.
This American Wheat Ale is brewed with a generous amount of wheat malt, including smoked cherry wheat. Gently hopped with Mt. Hood hops and fermented clean with Chico yeast, it showcases a soft, bready and subtly smoky body. Expect aromas and notes of mild clove-like spice, fresh bread, and a touch of floral hop character, finishing smooth and easy.
Last Wave Brewing Company and Wild Air Beerworks
Fruited Sour Ale – 5.8 % ABV
Last Wave was the first brewery to ever say yes to a collaboration with us at Bradley Brew Project. Bonding over our shared love of the ocean, we brewed a Session IPA that celebrated the local season — those special days before and after the summer rush.
Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Bert, Dani, and Nick even more, sharing countless beers and great conversations along the way. With the opening of Wild Air and Jeff stepping in as Head Brewer at Last Wave, it’s been incredible to watch their story continue to unfold and thrive. Creative, collaborative, and deeply committed to quality, this crew embodies everything we love about the craft beer community — making this partnership an absolute no-brainer.
This seasonal beer is brewed with Philly Sour yeast for a bright, gently tart character. Conditioned on over 300 pounds of cranberry and tangerine purée, plus a touch of vanilla and cinnamon, it brings balance and warmth. Expect aromas and notes of juicy fruit, subtle spice, and a lively finish.
Manic Minds Brewing Company
Cold India Pale Ale – 6% ABV
Manic Minds is the homebrew brand of our Head Brewer, Justin. Based in Pennsylvania, Justin brings with him a deep connection to the region’s rich brewing culture. Over the years, he has built the Manic Minds brand through local and regional festivals, earning high praise, positive feedback, and multiple awards along the way. Most recently, he helped bring national recognition to Tall Oaks with our Gold Medal-winning English Dark Mild, Cottage, at the Great American Beer Festival.
Through our connection to Justin and Manic Minds, we highlight our desire to support the homebrewing community, now and in the future.
This Cold India Pale Ale is brewed with Pilsner malt, flaked corn, and white wheat for a crisp, lean body that lets the hops shine. Hopped with Idaho 7, Lotus, Simcoe, and Citra, then fermented clean with a traditional German lager yeast at cooler temperatures, it’s bold yet refreshing. Expect aromas and notes of citrus zest, orange blossom, subtle pine, and tropical fruit, all finishing crisp and clean.
Kane Brewing Company
West Coast India Pale Ale – 7%
Long before we owned breweries, we were fans of the local beer scene — Kane Brewing included. We celebrated birthdays there, enjoyed post-workout beers, and had photos of our daughters growing up with Kane barrels in the background.
Since opening our own breweries, Mike has been a voice of support, always willing to share advice and perspective. A few years ago, Chelsey, Mike, and others shared the stage during a panel discussion representing the craft beer industry — a moment that deepened our connection even further. Knowing we can shake hands with the team behind the largest brewery in New Jersey means the world to us and keeps us grounded in what this community is all about. Fun fact: every barrel-turned-table at Tall Oaks once held a Kane barrel-aged beer!
This West Coast-style India Pale Ale is brewed with Pilsner and Crystal malt, and hopped generously with Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial hops. Aromas and notes of pine resin, citrus zest balanced by a caramel malt sweetness and a dry, refreshing bitterness.
Bakes Brewing Company
Triple Hazy India Pale Ale – 10% ABV
Opening right around the same time as Tall Oaks, Bakes Brewing burst onto the local beer scene with big, bold hop-forward flavors — quickly earning the attention of craft beer enthusiasts across the state. We’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jeff and Jess for years, even before we opened our first brewery back in 2018.
Always up for sharing a beer and a conversation about running a small, community-driven brewery, our friendship has continued to grow right alongside our businesses. Did you know? Jeff and Mike graduated from the same college in the same year, never met back then, and went on to open breweries less than two miles apart. Talk about connection!
This Triple Hazy India Pale Ale is brewed with a base of Pilsner malt, flaked oats, malted oats, and flaked wheat for a soft, pillowy body. Hopped at over 5 lbs per BBL with Citra, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Strata, and El Dorado, and fermented with Verdant IPA yeast, it’s bursting with hop character. Expect aromas and notes of ripe tropical fruit, white grape, citrus zest, and a touch of berry, all layered over a smooth, juicy finish.
